It has a calming effect on neuroses, palpitations and sleep disorders. It has a beneficial effect on loss of appetite, bloating, indigestion. It adjusts the activity of the gallbladder and increases the excretion of bile.
If we are troubled by a sore throat, we use a solution mixed with the same part of water as a gargle.
If we are troubled by cold sores, we apply a tampon moistened with tincture to the affected area.
